You do not need to be pushy to close a sale

Let me share with you my secret two part solution to closing every sale

Let me use my experience in the bridal industry to help you

I have spent nearly a decade supporting wedding designers and retailers with their brands. From this experience I can share with you what I did to convert enquiries to sales, consistently. No pushy sales techniques and no icky hard selling required.

Converting sales starts with your marketing and PR

If a client really knows what you do and what you offer when they book an appointment 75% of the sale is already in the bag. Follow this with the right experience and language during their appointment and you can make sales easily and consistantly.

  • In order to make sales, your clients have to know if your business is right for them. This starts with their first interactions with you. Think about the way you talk about your business and your offering on your website, newsletter, social media and at in person events.

  • To make sure the brides booking appointments are right for you they need to have up to date information. Be clear about designers you stock, how bespoke designs work, pricing, timings and anything unique about your business. The more they are clear about who you are and what you can do for them, the more likely they are to buy from you.

  • Asking a bride in a kind and genuine way if they have any questions about buying a dress from you is KEY. She will not buy is something is not right so by asking directly, you have the opportunity to rectify any problems. Similarly, if there is nothing wrong it gives the brides the mental space to realise that you have everything she needs to buy. Either way it makes converting a sale easy.
