Hi, I’m Joanna, and I love all things Bridal!

I am a business coach for bridal designers and retailers. I opened my own award-winning bridal shop, Woburn Bridal for fashion-forward brides in 2015 which was proudly the first all-British designer store here in the UK. The shop was featured in all the top wedding publications including Festival Brides, You & Your Wedding, Brides Magazine, Love My Dress, Rock My Wedding and I was a fashion feature writer for a prominent wedding magazine.

After growing the brand significantly, I merged the shop with the alternative couture bridal house Bowen Dryden and went on to manage the brand. The business was forever fully booked, went viral many times, and was featured across the globe. Their garments were featured in, Vogue, OK!, Malvie, Rock n Roll Bride, Insposa, and many more..

Part of my role was to grow the wholesale side of the brand in the UK and across Europe. I also managed the bride experience, media and PR, photo shoots and business development.

Throughout my career, I have created, managed and styled photo shoots for some of the best emerging and well-established bridal brands both in the UK and internationally. My work has been featured in Tatler, Sheerluxe, Green Wedding Shoes, The Metro, Bridal Buyer & many more.

1. I talk to dogs in the street

2. I wear all black 90% of the time. The other 10% is leopard print

3. I am a typical Aquarius. Creative, Constantly Talker, People Person and Free Thinking

4. Rothko is my favourite artist and I cannot see his work with out crying

5. I am obsessed with Rightmove and mentally renovate houses I find on there

6. I am a maximalist. I read multiple books at the same time, love clashing patterns and my house is full of treasures I have collected

7. I had an award wining bridal shop that specialised in British Designers for fashion forward brides

8. I used to be a partner at Bowen Dryden and looked after the bride experience, marketing, brand building, wholesaling, and social media

9. I am the Co-Founder of GOWN Bridal Market. GOWN Bridal Market is a curated edit of considered bridal design. Connecting independent designers with fashion-led bridal buyers.

10. I love photoshoots. The more editorial and fashion focused the best. It has always been one of the best part of my jobs.
